As a child I loved the older "Horror" films that were in Black and White. That style created inadvertently a very creepy, eerie and ethereal atmosphere that is unrivaled to this day. Back when those stories or adaptions of great books such as Shelly's Frankenstein or Stoker's Dracula, we were treated to the Dark, Brooding castle hidden high on some an mountainside complete with moonlight or lightning, these films never failed in transporting the viewer to a world they would never experience which is a sort of fantasy film.
