The Hunt for Red October is my favorite book, I've read it about 13 times, I thought the audiobook might be fun. I was surprised that a scene in approximately the middle of the book was left out of the Audiobook, and the last 15 to 20 pages were also left out, THAT'S RIGHT: THE END OF THE BOOK IS NOT ON THE CDs!!!! I'm not sure what went wrong, but it could be defective somehow, or simply poorly done.

The same is true with Clear & Present Danger, I've only read that one once, as good as it is, but the end of the story is definitely cut off about 15 to 30 pages before the actual end, very annoying since it took 3 days to listen to the whole thing,
Good author
Not abridged. 2 MP3 discs for each book.
Had a terrible time to download it to my iTune Library. All the physical DC disc were label in session. The internal discs were all labeled Disc 1 and all 95 tracks were marked the same way, creating total confusion. Returned both CD books.
Clancy has always been one of my absolute favorites to read. The stories are well thought out and other than sometimes difficult to follow without knowing some of the acronyms, very enjoyable.
