Tina DeRosa (also De Rosa; 1944–2007) was an American writer best known for her 1980 novel, Paper Fish. She also published poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction. Tina DeRosa was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 20, 1944, one of two children of Anthony DeRosa, a police officer, and Sophie (née Norkus) DeRosa. She grew up in Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood, and attended Holy Guardian Angel Grammar School and St. Mary's High School.

Blessed Giovanni Battista Scalabrini (8 July 1839 – 1 June 1905) was an Italian Roman Catholic prelate and the Bishop of Piacenza from 1876 until his death; he was th. ore. The bishop's episcopal tenure resulted in the establishment of the "Saint Raphael Association" dedicated to the care of Italian migrants which proved to be a cause he held close to his heart. John Paul II later beatified Scalabrini in Saint Peter's Square on 9 November 1997.
