The Lord used her to bless so many lives! She went to be with the Lord today- March 2013. My Bible on homemaking as a young woman.

I would define 'hidden art' as the art found in the ordinary areas of everyday life. Each person has, I believe, some talent which is unfulfilled in some hidden area of his being - a talent which could be expressed and developed. The Hidden Art of Homemaking will appeal immediately to anyone who believes that the place in which we live needs to be a center of meaningful living and personal enrichment.

Inspiring and a great very practical ideas for making you home a reflection of your self and serenity. Have lent this book to friends and they love the ideas and encouragement it gives too. Honey for your heart1
I was raised on this book and now have my daughters read it. Definitely one of the basics every Christian woman should read. (Men too :o)

Creativity is not for the "artsy" people only, but for everyone of us to express in some way because we are created in the image of the great artist, the Creator God.
Not a fan of some of the books, where they headed. But this tried and true book expanded my view of the creativity of the LORD and I'm grateful for that!
The content of book is excellent. The paper back binding was not worth the price as it fell apart from the very poor binding. My advice- do not get the paperback edition.
This book is timeless and I thoroughly enjoyed Edith Shaeffer's writings. However, it did literally fall apart while I was reading it. "Good condition" doesn't always mean it will hold up as a study book.
Our family has made many memories down through the years and Edith Schaeffer has been the inspiration for many of them.
She shares such wisdom and practical applications in this book!
An oldie but goodie. Written many years ago but still timely.
