The microfungi are an artificial, paraphyletic group, distinguished from macrofungi only by the absence of a large, multicellular fruiting body. Microfungi grow in plants, soil, water, insects, cattle rumens, hair, and skin.

Throughout the whole book Frederick enjoys his loneliness which occurred due to his abnormal upbringing. Fredericks was guided through life by his uncle whom he sincerely adored and who has become his spiritual life leader. Frederick deeply suffered after his death and didn’t manage to build such strong relationships that he used to have before. Frederick has many psychological drawbacks. Since his childhood, he has been let down and abandoned several times: My father was killed driving.

Claude Fredericks was a dramatist and poet who taught at Bennington College from 1961-1992. He founded The Banyan Press and published the work of well-known poets and fiction writers. Fredericks died on January 11, 2013. Contact Library Reproductions and Permissions.
