Beyond the basics, it is an in-depth exploration of the aquatic ecosystem and how if affects plants. This book will give you a very good education in the factors leading to success or failure in a planted aquarium, no matter what species you put in it. Here is how the book is disappointing, even though you need it: It is not a very polished work and it feels strangely incomplete.
