The first chapter of the first book hooked me up! I just had to know what the hell was going to happen!

Mistery is the key word througout these novels. Is very interesting to read the impacting events of humanity's first contact with an advanced alien starship through the eyes of Clarke – who sure knows his lot of science!

I liked lots and lots of things in those books, and disliked a few of them. His approach to include a metaphisical theme in one of the main characters didn't really connect with me, but I though it was worth the shot.

The books are [mostly] really slow-paced, which feels natural at some points, but fells a little too dragging for my taste - made me fast-read or even skip a few chapters. Still, the good parts were worth it! Enjoy!
I read the original Trilogy as a teenager decades ago and recently felt the need to read it again. I did know of the the final part, Rama Revealed, until recently but it completed the series beautifully. What a marvellous story.
I had read the first three books before. I purchased the book to get the complete series in one format. I loved the original stories and even liked the last story. But like most serials the story lines got a little thinner as the stories continued on. I strongly recomend this volume to any Arthur C. Clarke fan. In one volume you get the complete Rama Saga.
I bought this to have it on kindle also.
People will tell you that the first book is the only one worth your attention, but the truth is they're wrong.
Granted, the second book feels to a large extent like a rewrite of the first book, but the way the story unfolds is a classic Clarke-style plot.
And I personally love his imagination when it comes to inventing alien concepts and races - it's just brilliant !
Apparently this is a collection of the Rama novels. I have not read Arthur C Clarke before purchasing this collection. I adored Rendezvous with Rama, a great well written novel. The others, are simply dreadful. I stopped halfway through the last or second last book as I didn't care enough to notice. The characters are insipid, and the novels are punctuated with incoherent sex scenes, dream sequences, endless descriptions of a character walking aimlessly somewhere. They remind me of another terrible Kindle book: Unearthing: The Omniverse by Steve Karmazenuk - which I also had the misfortune of buying (I believe the Rama books were previously published so he ripped them off). At least it only cost a $2.25 or so instead of $20.

Also the formatting and editing for Kindle leaves a lot to be desired. It is riddled with typos and even whole paragraphs repeated.

In summary avoid, unless you are desperate to have Rendezvous with Rama on your Kindle. In Australia, Rendezvous with Rama isnt available separately, you have to get the omnibus, so it is poor value.
Excellent read
Typical Clarke. Wonderful to have all the relevant stories in one continuous document.

Now, if someone can just explain 2001 .........
The best books I ever read specially the last one, Rama Revealed!
I want his future to exist and be part of it.
