Along with the information, Russell provides the sources for his writing. An excellent source for newcomers and with plenty of detail for experienced readers. Great resource for study of mountain men, early contact between Indians and whites. Useful in the study of metal artifacts of the fur trade, axes, traps, spearpoints, arrowheads, harpoons, knives and daggers, highly recommended.
