Capra, the Reporter to the Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Evidence Rules. Professor Capra has included his own comments on many of the Restyled Rules--based on his role as Reporter to the Restyling Project--and also includes his article on case law that diverges from the text of the Evidence Rules.
This book gets 5 stars simply because of the evidence map. While the book itself has a lot of good commentary concerning the revised rules, the map is what makes this worth it. I made 1 page flow charts based on it so I didn't have to unfold the giant map and they were critical. Any question thrown at you concerning the rules can be solved using that map.
The evidence map is kind of hard to navigate and only sort of helpful. It's a good reference to see everything in one place, but it never really helped me think about the course and I'm a very visual learner.
The layout isn't the best but it comes with a map of all the rules so its basically an outline in poster form, which it quite useful.
No matter what evidence case book you read, this is a great book for the FRE with a great rules map that is a very helpful supplement.
can be used as an attack outline for longer essay exams and also as a "cheat sheet" for multiple choice questions
This is just what it said that it would be. Very helpful easy to find what you need. And it arrived when they said it would
thoroughly satisfied, book was completely new, came in packaging with supplemental materials included, no hilighting or boxing of the book at all.
