Welcome Fantha Trackers to our third and final instalment from Kurt Vonn Gutzman’s wonderful book ‘Collect Them All! Confessions of a Recovering Action Figure Thief’. This final chapter charts the authors continued challenges from childhood and beyond with his one constant companion, Star Wars. They’re all rich goody-goodies, but when it comes down to it, that’s shitty to write us off like that. They could have bought us so many Star Wars figures over the years.

Think about the most tired you've ever been at work. It probably wasn't when you stayed late or came home from a road trip - chances are it was when you had someone looking over your shoulder, watching your each and every move

Think about the most tired you've ever been at work. It probably wasn't when you stayed late or came home from a road trip - chances are it was when you had someone looking over your shoulder, watching your each and every move. If we know that micromanagement isn't really effective, why do we do it?" asks entrepreneur Chieh Huang.

Now, don't get me wrong. I ain't saying this out of pride, but I ain't ashamed of my occupation neither. Thieves got a perfect right to exist in the Empire. People say we're dishonest. Of course, those people are usually either merchants or priests, which really slays me. Sort of the snake calling the worm legless. Rulers like us. Crime in moderation is good for the economy.

Quick, hilarious read! The childhood anecdotes peppered with Star Wars merchandise makes for an identifiable and clever story. If you're a child of the 1980's and loved Star Wars, I highly recommend grabbing this book.
Very fun account of growing up Star Wars. Stealing is wrong, but reading about these 2 made me LOL, remembering my youthful indescretions. A few errors in facts but overall a very fun read!
This was a fun read. I always hated finding an open empty package of a figure I needed though, lol. This got me trying to remember my own timeline of when I got my own figures. I can remember some, trying to fill in the gaps though.
I like this book and it is good I do not no what to say but I love kenner star wars
But it is a decent read if you are a Star Wars action figure fan. The writer gets a little too personal at times rather than sticking to the subject.
Kurt is an entertaining writer and this book is funny and also brings back the nostalgia of waiting for the Star Wars movies to come to the theater as well as spending hours hunting down the action figures and collectibles. I was also 7 when the movie first came out. After reading this book I had to watch Episode IV again. I didn't realize how much a part of my life this series was back then but reading this made me aware of how much impact it had. To this day when I hear the 20th Century music intro I think "Star Wars" and how I would run to the TV to watch the commercial. It was a fun read.
Quick read, pretty entertaining for collectors and non-collectors alike. Something about the stories of the children stealing action figures from corner stores was hilarious to me. The personal aspects of the story (home/family life) were quite sad and dark, but life can be that way sometimes. The icons/picture for each of the action figures were great, as were the details of the acquisition of each figure.
