I, like many I am sure, read content on Scribd exclusively on my smartphone. But books like these are all but useless if the text cannot be zoomed in for eadier reading. What a sad waste of possibly good reads.

This is a really cool intro to science for young readers (8-12 year olds). Younger kids will probably have to read it with an adult, the older ones can easily browse it on their own. There are lots of illustrations, quite a few of those humorous (especially for a kid). The information presented in the book is very readable and there are lots of interesting snippets alongside the main text.

While I recommend the book, there is one thing I would caution future buyers about. This series currently consists of four books: "What's Science All About," "What's Biology All About," "What's Chemistry All About," and "What's Physics All About." The last three are relatively slim (under 100 pages) volumes limited to a given branch of science. The first one is a collection of all three, plus a few extra pages. Therefore, if you want to buy a general science intro, limit yourself to this book and do not buy the others, as you will not get any new material. However, if your kid is really into physics or biology (but not chemistry), you can go with the subject-specific volumes.
Excellent Book, my son (10 years) love it, he read every night.
This book colorfull, and using simple wording made easy understanding.
Excellent Science Book.
This is 3 in 1 book, it inculded Phy., Cha., and Bio. Therefore, you don't need buy a What's Phy. all about? or What's Bio. all about. because all inculded in this book "What's Scienc eall about?"

I got this book on the recommendation of a friend who has a Ph.D. in biology. It is the best science book I have found for a smart kid heading into 5th grade and is interested in science.
Great book for my eight year old. Just tape the pages related to baby making, a bit early for my son. I love how simple n fun this book is.
