Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dinner at the Panda Palace! In this charming counting book, perfect for back to school, children will learn the importance of inclusion.

Join one hungry elephant, two carsick lions, three pigs running from a wolf, and dozens of other playful yet famished animals as they swing, bound, and bounce into the Panda Palace for a hearty meal. But when the restaurant is totally full, will Panda make room for one more guest?

This fun, rhyming counting book is celebrating 25 years in print!

This book is so much fun to read, and it is also a counting book. My granddaughter wanted this read to her at bedtime whenever she stayed with us. When she learned to read, she would read it to me at bedtime, she's 16 now and still talks about reading this with me at bedtime when she was younger. Panda bears are one of her favorite animals so this is a great book for kids who like them. I have a grandniece who loves pandas so I bought this for her since she wasn't familiar with it. I hope she likes it as much as my granddaughter and I do. The book is paperback yet well constructed and easy to turn the pages for little fingers.
This is my all time favorite children's book! I have bought several as gifts and LOVE 'expressivly' reading to my grandkids, schoolwork classes and even bible classes! Love the message too... "there will always be room" at the table for YOU, just like heaven... great book, SUPER FUN animals arriving in numbered groups to dine at The Panda Palace!
Folks, there is a reason that, as of this writing, all 22 reviews (now 23) are 5 stars. When my girls were just wee lassies I read this book to them more times than I can count. Yes, soon it got to the point where they could recite the story to me, which was handy when I was so tired that the book would drop onto my face as I tried to read it to them. Goodnight Moon and I'll Love You Forever were two of their favorites but this wonderful story became beloved by both girls.
Fast forward to 2015. Both of my girls are in college now (Wait! Weren't they just little girls a minute ago?). This book is on their list of essential books to include as a Baby Shower gift for friends and cousins. Thank you Stephanie for a very special book.
I just bought this book for my niece who is having her first child. This was one of the favorite books of my now 25-year-old son when he was a wee one. We read this numerous times and I might offer this advice: It's so much fun to read using a different accent for each animal group that comes to Dinner at the Panda Palace! I know my niece will have endless hours reading this to her daughter over the years.
This is one of my favorite books from childhood. I bought it as a gift for my friend's child. I highly recommend.
My 4 year old loves pandas, and this book combines that with her love of counting. The pictures are cute, and it makes for an easy read at bedtime.
This is a fun book. It's written like a rhyme, but not in an annoying way. Helps with speech patterns and fun illustrations.
The book just arrived on Friday and I have been reading it to my son over and over. In one sitting, he asked me to read it to him over 5 times. Once the story ended, he would say "again mommy". The book has a rhyming counting theme from 1-10 with different animals. The illustrations are fun to look at as well. I didn't know what to expect when i bought the book, but I'm glad I bought it. I bought it because it was about a panda (my son loves pandas)... so, I took a chance at the book. I'm glad I bought it. I highly recommend it!
