This book will answer all the questions that you have about OCD. This book is especially insightful, and sprinkled with anecdotes that are somewhat amusing and at other times shocking. I highly recommend this book to anyone with OCD or anyone that knows someone afflicted with it.

The book was not quite what I expected. It is not as reader friendly as I had hoped, but does have some useful information..
I use this book when working with families who have children with OCD. It gives quick answers and makes for an easy reference. You do not have to read it cover to cover, just whenever you have a specific question. Each chapter has a list of questions and the body of the chapter is the specific answers to the questions. Very handy!
very informative book
This is an excellent source of information about a disorder that really no one can comprehend unless either they or someone very close to them has suffered.
My doctor suggested I read this book. I learned I have some of these issues. The author answers many questions as if you are sitting there asking them. It is all in real terms.
Amazing deal !
The OCD Answer Book is a welcome addition to the limited number of up-to-date, user-friendly books devoted to obsessive-compulsive disorder. The author adopts a question and answer format that presents the subject matter in a logical progression, making it possible for the reader to get answers to specific questions quickly and without wading through extraneous information or illustrative cases. This, in combination with the author's easy style of writing, makes the book the most accessible by far. Dr. McGrath (author) is an OCD program director who works closely with OCD patients on a daily basis and is in a rare position to write with genuine understanding and experience on this subject. A comprehensive resource that tackles difficult and often unaddressed questions about OCD from the perspectives of the sufferer as well as the observer or family member, The OCD Answer Book is also the ideal choice for relatives and friends of those with OCD.
