All the books of Agni Yoga were written through means of clairvoyance or clairaudience, as she stated, and spiritual séances. There are only two instances mentioned in her biography in which she apparently met the Masters in person. We find them denying the existence of God, describing belief in God as superstition, denying a Creator and creation, speaking of prayer and intercession as a delusion born out of ignorance, revering Buddha rather than Christ, and emphasising that Christ is merely a term for a subjective spiritual principle and not the name or title of any being or entity. Yoga-that supreme bridge to cosmic attainment-has existed through all ages. Each Teaching comprises its own Yoga, applicable to that step of evolution. As the branches of one tree they spread their shade and refresh the traveler exhausted from heat. His strength regained, the traveler continues on his way. He took naught that was not his, nor did he divert his striving. Their manifest lack of co-measurement impels them to demean what exists. 3. Often you wonder why I do not reply to a question.

The essay seemed to be a chapter of this book, but, on the contrary, despite the title of the book, there is no reference to the question posed in the title.

The book is a rambling group of random questions ranging from "Do dogs and cats have souls?" to "Who was Nicholas Roerich?" It seems to have been written by someone with an incomplete grasp of English. Nor is the spelling any good. There apparently was no one to proofread it.

On the other hand, there are patches of good insights. My feeling about religion has always been that the founders of the religions had a moment of insight into the nature of the universe, and that religions became so dangerous because the followers only half understood what they were being told. This book would say that is because each person must find his own way to the truth. The distortions and misunderstandings of followers are compounded with each generation.

For this reason, I recommend the book despite its limitations. Some of this man's insights seem right on.
Thank you Andras, for capturing and compiling the essence, of where to start looking. Read without bias, or presumption, one cannot help, but to find a warm spot for this insightfully sensitive experience of reconciling religion with the art of finding the individual path. The conflict of blending Eastern and Western philosophy, has long been postulated, but this unique perspective, generated from actual experience, is quite worth the read. The mere boldness of the title, should make you aware, that these are questions and answers we should all be pondering. In these times of such great tribulation and technology, that seemingly want to take over the planet, it's refreshing to know that there are still individuals that consider these matters of great importance, and are willing to take the time to write about it.
Very compelling read, and please, keep up the good work Andras. Highly recommended and educational as well.
This is just a re-hash of an early book which is full of purloined ideas. Save your money!
