In mainstream trinitarian Christianity, God the Father is regarded as the first person of the Trinity, followed by the second person, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and the third person, God the Holy Spirit. Since the second century, Christian creeds included affirmation of belief in "God the Father (Almighty)", primarily as his capacity as "Father and creator of the universe"

I honestly bought this on a whim! My husband, a pastor, is doing a sermon series on the names of God. His birthday was coming up and I was looking for books he might enjoy. I found this and really liked the fact that it is written as a devotional but also includes photos with historical facts etc. I wasn't sure if he would like it because he already has a million !! books on the subject. Turns out, he LOVES it! It includes so many more names of God that other books don't include and he said it has been so helpful for him in preparing his sermons. It is not necessarily just for scholars. It appears very readable and likeable for the average person. What I like most are the photographs that really make the subject matter come alive.
This is an awesome book! It would be very helpful if the description detailed more about the handy go anywhere size that actually is very small and hard on the eyes. I was very disappointed with my books which were shipped to senior citizens in NY and VA. for a Bible study class because of the small print. It would have been idea not to purchase reading glasses to read the book. Would you please consider a more detailed. description that includes the actual size of the book or the number of pages?

Thank you
